Metadata is data within the CMS that describes an asset. Here the
asset can also be an event location/venue. Common fields such as
title, summary, user rating or location address provide quick
information about the venue.
Step-1:
Log-in to the
cadjin Platform.
Step-2: In the left side menu, go to
the
Metadata
section.
Step-3: Under
Metadata menu, you can find
Custom Field. Here you can create and add fully customized metadata related to
any content, artist or venue/location etc.
Step-4: In
Custom Field, first give a Name to your
Metadata Field.
Step-5: Then select the
Entity Type to which the new
Metadata is going to associate/relate. In the dropdown menu, you can
find three entity types i.e. Content, Artist and Venue. Select
Venue. (Usually Venue refers to any
geographycal location such as stadium where the live match is going
on, a Club where a music concert is happening or a Conference
room/classromm where the live seminar is going on. A venue can also
be a Town Hall, a studio, a city or an institute.)
Step-6: After selecting the
Entity Type, select the
Field Type.
Step-7: After selecting the Field
Type, give the possible options related to Content.
Hints: For example, a custom metadata 'User Rating' can be
associate to Venue. In this case the possible options may be
Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair and Poor.
