How to map a content to a particular category?
Mapping a Content to a perticular category (or genre) is important because it helps set audience expectations, influences emotional connection and engagement, creates a sense of community around shared tastes.
Category/Genres serve as a useful framework for both filmmakers/content creators to understand their audience and for audiences to discover and connect with films that align with their interests and moods.
In Cadjin CMS, mapping a category to a content is a mandetory step. Any type of new content creation will required to assign the content under one or more than one category.
Following steps will explain how to map category during new content creation flow.
Step-1: Log-in to the Cadjin CMS.
Step-2: In the left side menu, under Digital Library, go to the Content section.
Step-3: You can see Content List (If created any). To create a content, click on +Add Content button.
Step-4: In the first stage of a Content creation, select the Asset type and move to next step.i.e; Upload content and trailer.
Step-5: After uploading the required content file from the Asset Manager, click on Save & Next. Here you can give the basic information or Content details about your
content. The basic information is such as Title of the content, Description, Thumbnail Image, Banner Image, Category, Sub-Category etc.
Step-6: Under the GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE CONTENT section, go to the Category dropdown. In the dropdown, it will show you previously created categories
.
You can select one or more than one category from the dropdowm.
Step-7: Then fill-up the fields in the next step and complete your content creation.
That's it ! You've successfully mapped the category to the new content.
