How to create a Multi part Parent Content ?


Step-1: Log-in to the Cadjin CMS .

Step-2: In the left side menu, under 'Digital Library', go to the Content section.

Step-3: You can see all the Content List here (If created any). To create a Multi part Parent content, click on +Add Content button.
Note here that, there are 5 (Five) stages of Multi part Parent content creation as shown below :

Step-4: In the first stage of VOD Content creation, select the Asset type, i.e. Video or Audio file.
Click on video camera icon - Video icon

Step-5: Then select the upper-left Second icon 'Multi-Part Parent Video' to create Multi-part Parent content. (See below image)

Step-6: Next, upload a trailer/promotional video for your multi-part parent content from the Asset manager and then click on Save & Next.
(Note that No content is required for a multi-part parent content and adding Trailer is optional)

Step-7: After uploading the required Trailer file from the Asset Manager, give the basic information or Content details about your Multi part Parent content. The basic information is such as Title of the content, Description, Artists, Thumbnail and Banner Images associated with the content, Category, Sub-Category etc. (Note that Thumbnail and Banner can also be uploaded directly from your local storage drive/PC.)


    Step-8: Next, select the required Settings from the Metadata. In this stage, there are 3 (Three) Sections.
  • First one is the ADVANCED METADATA. Here you can do the advanced settings like Search Tag, Geo-Blocking, Content Rating, Release Date etc.
  • Next section is CUSTOM METADATA. Here you can provide your Contents related custom Metadata. (For example: Director, Cast & Crew, Production house, Location etc.). If you want to Create or Edit a custom metadata, then go to the Custom Field Tags, under the Metadata Section of the CMS.
  • Third section is ADD CONTENT PARTNER. Here you can add the Content Partners for this specific VOD content you are creating.
    • Note: All the fields in the Metadata sections are NOT mandatory. To know more about the metadata creation and edit, go to the Metadata management section of the Cadjin Help Center.

    Step-9: In the final stage of your Multi part Parent content creation is Set Pricing & Publish. It has two parts.
  • First one is SET PRICING. Here you can attach Pricing Plans to your content. If you select the PAID, paid button selected ,then you can select the previously created Subscription Plan or PPV Plan or Both from the dropdown.
    If you select the FREE, free button selected ,then the current VOD Content will be availabe for free on the OTT Platform.
  • The next section is the content PUBLISH.
    Select PUBLISH NOW if you want to publish your content immediately on the Platform. After clicking the Save & Next, you can see the content in the Content section.
    Select PUBLISH LATER if you want to publish your content NOT immediately, but in future. Here you need to provide the Publishing Date & Time.
    Or you can choose SAVE IN DRAFT if you want to save the content in draft for future edit and publish.
