How to add banner to your website template ?

Banner carousels or “sliders” are a popular element in modern web design. It is a good way to stage lots of latest releases, visuals, news and event info that changed on a regular basis. A Banner carousel will keep your OTT frontend fresh and updated with new content that links to featured content. Many popular OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Hulu are maintaining a Banner carousel on their home screens which are updated time to time. Cadjin website template editor provides you latest and fresh Banner carousel/slider components for your OTT Platform. You can easily add, edit/update or remove them from the back-end. Followings are the steps to add Banner carousels to your OTT Plafrom using Cadjin CMS.

Step-1: Log-in to the Cadjin CMS .

Step-2: In the left side menu, under 'Website'section, go to the "Home Screen" section.

Step-3: Click on your Template and edit it by clicking on Edit button, now go to center button of "ADD SECTION ↓" , click on it.
(The 'ADD SECTION↓' will appear in between any two previously added Components)

Step-4: Now the ADD NEW SECTION modal will open. Then go to the Banner carousel section. It will show the list of Banner Components that has carousel/slide effect. Select a Banner Carousel component and click on Add to Template.
(Note: In the video example 'Default Banner 2.0' has been selected. You can choose any other component also)

Step-5: The new Banner carousel has been added to your website template. Now its time to add images to the Swimlane. You can do it by clicking the edit button at the right side of the newly added banner component. It will open the Banner Carousel Editor.

Step-6: In case of Default Banner 2.0 component (as shown in video), you can find SLIDES where there are two default slides available. You can edit the individual slides by clicking the Edit button of each slide.

Step-7: After clicking edit button of a slide, Single banner Editor will open. Here you can add the banner image of your own choice. If there is already a default image on the banner, you can remove it ( Click on X Symbol inside image section ) and upload new image from your device or from Asset Manager. Similarly, you can add a number of images to your Banner Carousel.

Note:
(a) To work successfully, a Banner Carousel should have at least two sliding images.
(b) For a striking look of your OTT Platform, a Banner Carousel should have high quality images with good resolution and proper dimension.
(c) In the video 'Default Banner 2.0' example is given. Likewise you can also try other Banner Carousel components.
