How to create Video(Linear) ad that play before the main content (Pre-Roll)?



Pre-roll Video(Linear) ads are video advertisements that automatically play before viewers access their chosen content. These video ads are typically six to 30 seconds long and can appear across various contents. They can be skippable or non-skippable, depending on the platform and advertiser's choice. Following steps will help you to create a Pre-Roll Video(Linear) ad in Cadjin CMS.

Step-1: Log-in to the Cadjin CMS .

Step-2: In the left side menu, under Advertisement, go to the Campaign section.

Step-3: To apply a Pre-roll Video(Linear) ad, you can create a new Ad-Set (click to know more) or modify / edit the existing Ad-Set under the campaign.

Step-4: Inside the Ad-Set, under the Select Ad Type section, choose the Video (linear) option from the dropdown menu.

Step-5: After selecting the Video (linear) option, you can select the Add Ad-Media. Here yo need to choose the Video Ad file from the Ad Library. You can also Add Link to the video ad media file if you have the URL of the video ad media file.

Step-6: Then go to the Ad display settings section at the lower end and select the Location of Video Ads option as Pre Roll. This will ensure that your Video(Linear) ad plays before the main content.

Step-7: Under the same Ad display settings section, you can also set the ad display as Skippable or Non-Skippable as per your requirement. If you choose the Skippable option, you can also set the Skip time for the ad.

This way you can create a Video(Linear) advertisement that automatically play before the content.
